Jacksonville Jaguars “Revive the Pride”
Glaring lights envelop you into the canopy that is “The Jungle.” Your eyes scan the crowds amassed around your seat for any sign of unwavering support; there is none. The constant sounds of cheers and bellows steadily rumble the seat beneath you as you cheer your Jaguars on to victory.
You and 15,000 of your closest friends are in the Jungle; A special place where you can take in all of the sights, sounds, and smells of professional football in Jacksonville.
Starting Dec. 17, 2009 during the Jaguars vs. Colts thriller, every Jaguar fan in the nation will have the unique opportunity of indulging themselves in the Jacksonville Jaguars newest attribute, “The Jungle”. The Jungle is a club-like fan zone designated to partygoers and fans alike. With special food offers, discounted prices, and even free drinks, The Jaguars’ Jungle is destined to have Jags fans in frenzy. The Jungle will even feature cheerleader appearances throughout the game and giveaways lead by the Jaguars mascot, Jackson-de-ville.
The Jungle is teaming up with Touchdown Jacksonville’s campaign “Revive the Pride”, which is focusing on selling out the nationally televised Jaguars v. Colts game. The Thursday night game will be first of hundreds of games viewed from the Jungle.
The Jaguars are starting this new campaign and fan zone in order to draw in current and potential fans to a brand new game-day experience.
Revive the PRIDE! The Jaguars co-sponsor and Touchdown Jacksonville! Are a community-based group of civic leaders who have come together to showcase the historical and future significance of the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL franchise in Northeast Florida. This grassroots organization along with the Jaguars hope to highlight the tremendous value that the Jacksonville Jaguars have brought to the region through national exposure, direct economic stimulus, philanthropic support, community pride and overall good will and pride.
"You've got to understand what the economy is and how it's difficult for people to get out and spend that extra money on football and things of leisure. We just want to figure out a way to make it extra worth their while and we feel The Jungle is the perfect way for our fans to get out and cut loose, something people in these times deserve,” said Jennifer Kearns, Director of Public Relations for the Jacksonville Jaguars. “The Jungle is for the fans.”
